Redirection of OAuth authentication to another domain

Some application service providers use OAuthToken Authentication to retrieve data. By default these requests are made by Klipfolio. To have these requests redirected to another domain, such as a White Label partner's domain, you must register that domain with each application service provider.

Note: Redirecting one application service provider to another domain makes all other authentication tokens invisible until redirected.

Below is a list of connectors that you might want to redirect. Register only with the providers in your environment.

  1. Facebook
  2. Twitter
  3. Linkedin
  4. UserVoice
  5. SurveyGizmo
  6. Instagram
  7. Podio
  8. Google
  9. Dropbox
  10. Foursquare

Note: This process is not applicable to FTP, e-mail attachments, or when you directly upload a data source file.

When you register with an application service provider, you are required to create a client id and client secret. You must send the client id and secret, sometimes referred to as the application key and secret, to Klipfolio.

After redirection is setup, White Label clients must re-authorize their OAuth authentication tokens using the following steps.

Reauthorizing an OAuth Token

  1. From the dashboard, click the Account link.
  2. Select the Connected Accounts (OAuth Tokens) tab.
  3. Select the Token Name.
  4. Click the Re-Authorize button.
